Methadone side effects?
I have just started to take methadone prescribed by my doctor for pain that I have been having. It has been effecting my sexual drive, I was just wondering if this was a normal side effect and how long it will last, or if there is anthing I can do to help increase my sex drive.

Alright. Ive been taking methadone for about 8 months now every work night and at home anytime i feel like cleaning,doing yard work,ETC.. they give me a great deal of energy. Ive been having sex problems i haven't taken them for about 6 days now witch is really tough cause i feel like i need them to get on with my day its a bummer. ive been with my fiance for about 5 years and we used to have great sex. now after stopping methadone i cannot control my climax and i cannot stay erect for a long period of time. this has been seriously causing me to feel very insecure, ive been with many girls and have always been thought of as a great in bed at least ive been told . but now this is really starting to bother me my pride is slowly crushing and now i don't even want to have sex because the thought of not being able to control my climax and my erection is unbearable. Please tell me this is the methadone causing this im in my early 20's and this is not GOOD and can someone tell me if this is going to stop after the methadone is out of my system thanks for all helpAlright.
